maybe you should consider the birth control ring or the depo shot. i know people with eating disorders and most will stop having periods. If you are really thin, you may not be ovulating because your body needs the nurishment. I would imagine that ok though since you wait, but to be on the safe side try another method. hope i could help

If you are not getting help for your bulimia, I suggest you do so but, you know this already. As for your birth control, your digestive system is in a terrible mess because of your bulimia. It's not just effected when you are throwing up. Bulimia causes certain phsyical changes in the way that you digest foods through your stomach. I think it would be best to talk to your doctor about switching to a type of hormonal birth control that you do not have to digest such as the Ortho-Evra patch, Depo-provera shot or the Nuva ring. In my own opinion, I think the Nuva ring would be best for you since the patch has the possibility of increased risks and the shot causes weight gain in some women. It's cool too because you can use it to skip peroids and you only have to remember it every 3 weeks. If you choose not to switch birth control methods, definitely use condoms as a back up method of contraception until you decide to become pregnant and/or find a way out of bulimia.

With the bulimia, you'll die anyway if you don't stop puking.

Slowly DYING hardly is glamorous--

Loss of vital minerals
Metabolic disturbances
Erosion and discoloration of tooth enamel from stomach acid
Tooth decay, gum disease, mouth ulcers
Inflamed glands resulting in a "chipmunk" or "moon" face
Impaired mental functioning
Lowered resistance to infections
Severe muscle spasms
Esophagus damage
Permanent organ damage
Heart attack
High incidence of drug and alcohol addiction
Co-occurrence of clinical depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder

being bulimic is not a good thing. You should really try and get help for that.
AS for your question, ask your doctor or call a health hotline

from what ive heard, most pills absorb in about 3 hours, so if you wait 4 then they should still work.

Go the free clinic, ask the doctor there, and be truthful about everything you tell her , and she may be able to help you.
