how can you treat the subject of your essay objectively?

Do not be subjective--meaning do not use words like I, My Me, Us, etc. In simple terms, Instead of saying I like this book, say this book is good because. Do not personalize the subject, if you have a personal attachment to it, stay objective and do not let your own personal bias show in your work. Keep it professional.
