well there is not much differance/ Dems are for welfare for the poor and starving and the middleclass working man. Repulicans are for welfare for the RIch and not paying taxes even if they have to put all the dept on to there childrens back.
It used to be republicans were for fiscal responsibility they just want to elimate the bill of rights establish a state relgion and bring back slavery. I say this because that is what they say they want to do listen to them.

Historically (that is, since the 1920s) the Democrats have been liberals and the Republicans have been conservatives. That means that, until the 1980s, the difference between them was that a Democrat wanted to be sure that liberty was conserved, and a Republican wanted to conserve liberty. Largely a matter of emphasis.

That began changing in the 1960s; the change became apparent in the 1980s. Ronald Reagan championed individual responsibility and took the Republican Party on a principled move to the right. Principled Democrats (Daniel Patrick Moynihan, Fritz Mondale, Bob Kerrey and others) lost all influence in the party (I'm a Democrat myself) which was taken over by opportunistic thugs such as Chuck Schumer, Joe Biden, Diane Feinstein and Osama bin Durbin. They focused only on winning and keeping power. In response, the Republican Party flung itself into the same sewer and focused solely on winning and keeping power.

Things will likely get better in both parties within two years because the Republicans' sewer smell got them thrown out of power. We can trust Pelosi, Reid et al to stink just as badly within two years, at which point the voters are likely to revolt.

Democrats want to pick the pocket of the wealthy and redistribute it to the "poor". They use class warfare as a way to win elections. When they say we are only taxing the people that can afford it, they are saying we are taxing the people who make this country work! It is really the entrepenuer that gets harmed in this. When wages and taxes go up so do his prices. When he can no longer afford to keep up with larger businesses, he goes out of business. He alone does not feel the pinch, but his material suppliers, his workers, the people who bought his product suffer as well. Why should you be made more liable for this country and the people in it because you have succeeded? Maybe that is why people no longer try to succeed but wait on their government handout. Republicans have more faith in the people of this country to solve their problems without the governments help. The government of this country was not founded to take from one person and give to another. The pilgims came here because of taxation without representation. They came to America because of a 6% tax. What are the Democrats wanting to raise the rich peoples taxes up to........39%. ! Republicans know that the wealthy use their money to invest in America. They upgrade equipment, build new factories, giving Americans jobs. If they cannot make the profit they feel they deserve for the work they have put in, they hire temporary employees to defray some of the cost to hiring and to stay competitive in the world market. The other choice is moving your business out of this country costing the same Americans that buy your products their jobs. Just like the minimum wage hike the Democrats put out. It is a ploy for votes. They know when they raise the price of manufacturing the price of goods must go up. The raise is then eaten up by the hire costing products that you buy. This plan also hurts the man who made more than minimum wage because now his dollar buys less. Most people earning minmum wage are high schoolers and college students! They live at home or in dorms. They live off of mom and dad. Republicans believe the market will determine wages! I could continue but this is long enough!

Spend more money in the defense industry then on social services. This political party has been in control during most American wars including WWI, WWII, and Vietnam.

Demarcate- Their symbol is a donkey and the color blue. They tend to be of middle class. This political party is more concerned with civil liberties and are considered to be liberals. They tend to spend more money in social programs and less in defense. This party has taken control from republicans to bring an end to wars such as WWI,WWII and Vietnam.

A democrat is someone that would like to see the country over-run by illegal aliens, that the illegals should get benefits citizens do not get, especially if they refuse to learn English, that welfare should be handed freely to those who refuse to work, thinks criminals should have it nice and easy after they commit a crime, would rather see more innocent people become victims than see one criminal mistreated (to them, mistreated means the criminal has to eat a meal they do not like in jail) and would rather see more terrorist attacks than see possible terrorists deported from the country.

A republican is someone who thinks if someone wants to come to this country they should go through the legal process and should not get what US-born citizens do not get, that anyone coming here should learn English (like every other group except one does), that if people want money, they need to work for it, they think prison should be a punishment for crimes committed, and think the safety of the citizens is important enough to protect.

Democrats like to quip, "Those willing to give up freedom for safety deserve neither" but are too ignorant to understand that without safety, you do not really have freedom.
