Was anyone ever Sharpay in High School Musical?
Does she have a lot of lines?

I saw the movie a trillion times, and I've done acting for 6 years now, I've been in 9 plays.
I'm not nervous about the lines, I wnt there to be a lot of lines.

Congratulation! That's a great part. Remember though for future roles you might get if you continue to act, don't worry so much about how many lines there are or if it is a main character. Make each character your own and give it your all. I've been acting for a long time now and I rarely go for the main characters. They are usually boring and no depth to them. The fun is in making the characters memorable.
ps: Just sharing a little professional advice. I've made a pretty good living out of it.

My sister is doing that play in her school, too. She tried out for Sharpay, but the assistant director gave the part to herself, so it must be pretty good! I know she's one of the leads, and she's my sister's favorite character (and my sister has seen the movie about a million times).
Watch the movie, it will give you a better sense of the character.

Sharpay is a great top role to have. She was one of the main characters, The " bad girl" in a way. She always got the lead in her school's musicals every single year. Ashley Tisdale plays her in highschool musical. Congratulations on the role. ^_^

Watch the movie. Sharpay is a good part i guess. She is sort of the villian, trying to break up Troy and Vanessa. Go for it you good actress! Wish me luck and you!

That's really great! She is one of like the 4 main characters i think. I don't really know. But congrats! I've never had a high school musical play but if we did have one i would be happy to be in it!

IM DOING THAT TOO!! lol i didnt get sharpay though cuz the teachers were playin favorites and didnt even watch me auditition >:/ anyways... ive look and she kinda has a lot but not as much as gabriella.

omg! thats so cool.i loved her part...you know you could sing 'it's hard to beleive' thats my favorite song in the movie.
