Bigfoot, Yowie, Alma, Skunk Ape, Mountain Man, Yeti, Abominable Snow Man.......

Do you believe there is another intelligent hominid or human-like species that has survived to the modern era but dwells on the outskirts of human habitation?

Big Cats were recently proven to exist in England after decades of dispute over sightings. An Ape-like creature would be a lot smarter than a Cat and presumably even better at hiding.

Yeah, and I'll tell you why.I'm 54 and the "Bigfoot craze" didn't start until the early 70s.My Dad (RIP) was born in 1917,when he was around 16,during the" Depression",he quit school to work.He was good at sawing lumber and would work in different "Camps" up and down Calif. Now this was about 1932,he pulls into a camp and there are oil drums and gasoline drums(50 gallon) scattered all around. He says "What happened here!" and the boss says'The damned "Humbolt Giants "were here last night when they couldn't get to our food ,they did this, damn them.'
They didn't have a word for them then,so in Humbolt County they called them,"The Humbolt Giants".My Dad never saw one but he had no doubt they were there. These guys were no-nonsense guys.If they could of shot one ,I'm sure they would have.
He told me that story around like,1961 or 62.

There are so many programs on everything from alien sitings, Bigfoot, the paranormal among so many others so it is really hard to know if these things are real but I don't believe that people lie about these things but sometimes legends get in the way. I am just happy that I do not live near Bigfoot or the Abominable Snow Man and haven't witnessed any alien sitings but I have witnessed the paranormal and I'm not scared.

I live in mountain country and have seen many wonderfully unique things. One of the most unique was a bigfoot. I saw him [or her] in a deep valley, from a nearby road high on one side of the creek he was standing in. I looked for evidence of what I saw when I got to the valley bottom but couldn't find anything. Now this might seem too much to believe, but then, one year in the early morning hours, I was followed down a country road by a cougar-sized cat. the only thing was it was black. there have been four such sightings recorded in new brunswick, cda.a time before me, but mine was an unrecorded sighting. I am possibly still here because a family of german shepherds, belonging to the home I was heading for, caught the cat scent and four german shepherds racing towards him was too much for the cat and he was gone in a flash.

Until the late Victorian Era people thought the Mountain Gorilla was mythical until one was shot and killed.

People though the giant squid was a myth until one was found.

The coelacanth was thought to be extinct but some have been found and filmed off the coast of South Africa.

Cryptozoologists still search for sasquatch and one day they will find him.

mental telepathy, E.S.P., clairvoyance, spirit photography,
telekinetic movement, full-trance mediums, the Loch Ness
monster, and the theory of Atlantis.

Who you gonna call?

Yes I do. I believe in different realms and I think he lives in one we live in another and when he crosses over (unintentionally) it scares him. That's why we only have sightings and no finds, he goes back to his realm.
