i'm having trouble with this word, I need to type a written paper and I can't make out this word. It means devious, sneaky and it's spelling along the lines of sreaty, or sceaty. Please help

You may be thinking of deviate which means to swerve or stray .
Devious can mean to be sneaky, the meaning being errant, tricky, cunning or to deviate from a straight course.. A far fetched meaning can also be to sin or be sinful. Use your computer for a more comprehensive explanation

Sorry, I can't find any words close to "sreaty" or "sceaty." Maybe it's just supposed to say, "sneaky."

Sketchy sounds similar but it's definition is more along the lines of vague, questionable or iffy. As in a sketch - wanting, or not complete. I think it can be used as slang for someone or something that seems questionable or possibly untrustworthy. Don't know if this is what you are looking for but hope it helps!

Why not use a synonym that fits the context, such as slippery, deceitful,devious, sneaky, underhanded, untrustworthy, cunning, sly, shady, etc.
