they are different meaning of life is what a person makes of their life. (for instance: if you choose to be successful or you choose to do nothing with it.)
as far as purpose goes, everyone shares the same purpose if you believe in God than you will understand what your purpose is. Now im not saying everyone is going to do the same thing in life but ultimately God gives us all the same purpose. To praise him and live by his ways and to make the most out of what we have.

No, the meaning of life is not necessarily the same as the purpose of life.
"What does life mean?" Enthalpy. Additionally, life has an irreversable end to it.
"What is the purpose of life?" asks what ought to be the universal human objective in life? I suggest that our purpoes is to develop and pass on wisdom.
I suggest that these are valid, interesting, useful answer to the euqestions. Note that meaning and purpose (enthalpy and wisdom) are not the same.

Both the terms are different. Meaning of life means what is the reason for life to be here. Purpose could be different for all the souls. Like one soul is a doctor and another soul could be a belly dancer.

No.
Meaning and purpose are different. If your purpose in life is to teach children you may or may not know the meaning of life.
You may have a purpose, but no meaning. You may know the meaning of life and serve no purpose.

Meaning of Life seems to be a big philosophical and profound question that you can discuss endlessly with your friends. Maybe just to understand.
The Purpose of Life is to live. Ask yourself what you are going to do with your life that gives you a sense of self and makes you different from the other millions of mindless sheep wandering through life aimlessly. You don't have to save the world or feed a nation, but what can you do for yourself that affects those close to you in a positive way?
Or did I just confuse myself???

The purpose of life is to contend with the mater at hand not matter what it is great or small!
Life has no particular meaning that can be rationalized in mere mortal terms especially sense life transcends it's mortal perceptions!

Yes, they're very similar. When you find you purpose in life, you will find the meaning of life, and vice versa. However, not many can answer this question of purpose of life. yet if you are lucky enough to find what you are meant to do in this life, you will find meaning in your life.

no purpose of life is to glorify God and do what he created you to do, your gift and you have a gift or a God given talent, that is to be use to glorify the father, meaning of life is how you live the life that God gave you, will you use it for good, or greed? read the book by Rick Warren The Purpose Driven Life.
