Hillary will easily take the Democratic nomination. But she has no chance in the general election. Too much baggage. Moderates and independants will never vote for her. The only way the Democrats can take the White House in 08 is if Hillary bows out.

Having see Nancy Pelosi, the man on the street is going to get a new positive opinion of lady leaders now that the Democrats have taken over congress.
Therefore, Hillary Clinton will become even more desirable as a new president.

I have hope that a woman could win the presidency, but I always run into people who are gender biased and close minded and i lose hope. I think Hillary Clinton is an excellent candidate. She's intelligent, I believe she truly wants what is best for this country, and she has the personality and mind of a leader. I would love to see Clinton and Obama team up. That would be an administration worth getting excited for. I think they would be fair and just with their policies.

I think that too many of our citizens, (bible belt, ultra-consevative neophytes) think that a woman should still be barefoot and pregnant. As for Hillary, not a chance. She has much too much baggage, and I've never seen anything that makes me think she would be a good leader. Nancy Pelosi would have a better chance. Hillary ran in the first place because it was easy for her. She's like a soccer mom with too much time on her hands, who really needs a hobby, other than the one she's got

I usually vote dems even though i am an independent but Hillary is out of the question. Not even Condy Rice would be what we would need in a woman president. Our country is not progressive enough for something like that anyway, female or minority president.

I would love to see a women run. If the democrats elect Hillary it will be absolute positive proof that they have no intention of winning the election.

Hillary wouldn't stand a chance, but there are many others who just aren't running. As for next term, I've heard A LOT of talk about John McCaine.

at this time it is not possible for a woman to win + it wouldn't really make any difference. a woman would be just like a man-by the time they git through the vetting process they are gender neutral-they're 100% politician.
definately not hillary-she's too polorizing. the next great democratic hope (unless he screws up) is obama from Ill.
the republicians arn't nearly ready for a woman-they're much too much good ole boy.
