Go to your doctor and get a blood test done. This will give a 100% positive on the result. It will also tell your doctor how much of the pregnancy hormone HCG is in your body to determine if you can continue to carry. The reason for this is because around 45% of known pregnancies result in miscarriage in the first 3 months. (if the hormone is too low).

He can also recommend or give you a referral for a gyn/ob for a later date and organise an ultrasound during your second trimester. Depending on health insurance its always best to get in early for your bookings that way you can choose the date and times more appropriately. It also keeps you up to date on your health and your baby's progress.

From personal experience you should go as soon as you can get an appointment, because the doctor needs to go over prenatal care with you and advise you of which medicines are okay to take while you are pregnant, because some medicines can cause you to miscarry, even certain doses of ibuprofen. I miscarried due to some flu medicine my non-OBGYN doctor prescribed me during the first stage of my pregnancy (tamaflu). Also only go to an OBGYN while you are pregnant, because i learned general doctors don't have the complete knowledge of pregnancy like an OBGYN does.

As soon as possible. The quicker you get into an OB/GYN office the better. That way you can start prenatal vitamins, get your health checked out and everything to make sure you and baby are fine. And possibly how far along you are! Congradulations!

ASAP. Sometimes it'll take a while to get an appointment and just to be sure get a blood test, those at homes aren't always on the money. But Congrats I wish you and your new family nothing but happiness.

Right away. You want to choose a doctor you feel comfy with and it can be difficult to get an appointment. Some doctors limit the amount of new patients they will take.

you should call as soon as possible, it s exciting to. Your first visit they will let you know your due date. Most of the time you will get a bag with magizines samples of all kinds of things for you and new baby! Just a little tip its fun to make a scrap book of everything in your pregnancy and after baby is here, So you should pick one up! But I would make it right away, Its exciting, and it may take awhile to get in. !!!!!!!CONGRADULATIONS!!!!!!!

call as soon as possible to schedule your first appointment because sometimes there can be a waiting list to get in to see the doctor. take store bought prenatal vitamins until then and you should be okay.
