Yes , I am using IE 7 now . I have had several problems with it to the extent I had to un install it several times. Now it's working smooth. I also tried the Mozilla Firefox 2 which was much faster than IE 7,but that also had some problems so I went back to the IE 7 and will use it for now. I would say to give IE 7 a download ,you can un install it and go back to the IE 6 or try Mozilla Firefox 2 the newest or one of their earlier versions.

It is at least as save as Internet Explore 6.0. And more likely to be safe because hackers haven't had much time to find holes like the ones that still exist in 6.0. If you're worried about safe stop using IE. Get Firefox or Opera.

Yes, I downloaded it and found vulnerabilities in it, so went back to Mozilla's Firefox. Much safer. I also contacted Microsoft with that info. There are some websites that won't let you get the next generation of links with Firefox. Though rare, when it happens, I run I.E. 7.0, but afterward run several programs to rid my computer of spyware and things. Firefox filters those bugs and spyware much, much better. Zone Alarm is the best software firewall. Turn off XP's firewall and use Zone Alarm. Much superior.

In order for you to get the infection, the Microsoft hating Scunia is claiming, you will get you must go to one web site, click on one of 17 links and on the new page you must click the infected link. Here is the funny part to it, the link tells you it is going to infect your computer.

The way I see this is only a complete IDIOT would allow the infection. The infection does not pass to other computers from the infected computer.

Knowing this, do you think you are going to get that DEVIOUS infection.

IE 7 is a very safe Browser. Do not fear using it.

I got it. It is a pretty cool browser, but it is a Beta version, as far as I know. I haven't experienced any problems, so I wouldn't fret. If you want tabbed browsing, then just get Firefox, the number one invention f 2005 according to PC World. If Yahoo! is promoting something, then it isn't bad for your computer.

I am running Internet Explorer 7.0 right now. I haven't had one problem with it yet. Though the tabbed browsing takes a bit to get used to.

you mean internet explorer 6.0, right? i have updated and really don't like it. the look is too foreign even though i have been using firefox also. the fact that holding down ctrl opens pages in new tabs makes it annoying any time there are popups because that needs ctrl+alt now. i recommend you stay at 6.0

I have downloaded it, and haven't experienced any problems with it so far. I still prefer Firefox 2, however. I would hold off if you're worried, although I don't think there's much to worry about if you only visit safe sites and open emails from known senders.

Mine apparently updated itself a few days ago. It was a pain to get used to at first, but in the end I think I like it.

I haven't experienced any problems--not that I would necessarily know. But McAfee and spybot haven't been complaining.
