Question about buying a mattress...?

I was wondering if you guys, and gals give me any input on what is a good mattress out there? Thanks for the input.

I have select comfort (Paul Harvey's sleep number bed). It's great if you have a bad back. They are a little more expensive than some of the cheaper spring mattresses.
