how many british soldiers in total died during the first world war? My daughter needs to know these for school.

to get the total of Welsh fusillrts you would need to contact the regimental museum, but i can tell you 4 were executed during WW1. 9 million soldiers of all nationalities died during WW1 of those Britain lost 956,703.

There is a Royal Welch Fusiliers museum in Caernarfon, you could always pay them a visit or give them a call and they should be able to give you an answer. Their website is http://www.rwfmuseum.org.uk

I know over 10 million died over all, on both sides, sorry can't remember any other specifics!
