possible window motor going bad, will it go up if you lift it as you push the button? if so you need a window motor

Could be the switch,wireing or the motor.Sometimes you can push in on the switch as you try to operate the window and if this works then you know the switch is bad,otherwise you will need to take the door trim panel off and test for power at the motor. If you have power to the motor when you operate the switch and the window isn't working,then the motor is shot.

It could be a broken wire in drivers door hinge area. The wires are in a flexible hose at the hinge area, can be seen when door is open. The wires can crack or break from the door being opened and closed over time.
