A guy abuses a girl because he feels he needs his *** kicked over something in his past. He's scum in other words get it? He chooses to want the girl back because he's getting more satisfied with his act of self hurt. Hope you ditch him and find a real guy. The more he does this the more he'll ask for it. Be tough the best thing you can do for a guy like that is leave him and never look back or you'll turn to salt in ways kinda like the bible speaks of.
Good Luck what the hell send me an e-mail for further counseling,
THOMAS S. SAM

The question should be why do SOME guys abuse girls. Men abuse girls for many reasons, it could be that they had a previous relationship crushed, and they can't bear to see another women leave them. Some boys watched their fathers abuse their mothers and think this is the way women need to be treated. And others simply want to flex their dominance, or are embarrassed that their wife, has a better Job/Income. and not all guys are a buser lots of them treat women courteously.

It's just a 'little boy' (not a man) trying to show he is alllll grown uppp and all that happy horse pucky by 'beating down' a female.. Been going on a looong time (too long I say!) I went to college and for some goddamned reason that little fact alone made my first (now 'ex' thank God) husband think if he belittled ME, he was smarter than me, the 'stuck up college *****.' (He barely got outta high school.. my momma 'liked him' so I went against my natural instincts and married this dope-smokin' adultering 'loser' in the 70's.) Once the girls leave, the abuser feels he 'lost control.' Men feel they need to control situations (more 'macho' that way? hell, I don't know) They cannot control say 'work' SO waht do they do? they control a helpless female.. someone that can't make the kind of money they do, someone that 'has kids' and needs his 'paycheck.' (yeah, real "men" huh? bullshit i say!) totally...

It has to do with their own self worth, or lack there of to be specific. They abuse, whether it is physical, verbal, emotional or mental, to make themselves feel worthy and important.
As far as part 2 of your question, wouldn't you want the person back that makes you feel important and worthy?
Sidebar: to all those out there that think abuse is funny, it is not. It is sad, it is sick and it should never happen regardless if it is a man abusing or a woman abusing. For those poor souls who stay with an abuser, you can make it without this person in your life. You are not the person they have said you are, you are wonderful, beautiful and worthy of love, respect and kindness ALWAYS!

Male abusers are acting out of an internalized rage that arises from past trauma and a deep seated need to lash out, dominate and punish. Often they were abused themselves. Frequently, these men are alcoholic, drug dependent, and bullying, but they can seem mild mannered to outsiders. Any woman should leave abusers and get help immediately if it ever happens.

Some guys abuse their partners because it's basically a way for them to feel like they are in "control". However, there is no reason to ever abuse a partner.
Once a woman leaves, they feel like they have "lost control". Their need for control is beyond their capacity to love.

Because he is mentally sick and if u are with a guy like tht then i would suggest u leave him. I would doubt any girl would want to be with a man that beats him nevertheless the reason they probably want her back is because they felt guilt but then when they get her back they will probably repeat the abuse... my suggestion is to avoid those types.

Guys abuse girls to make them feel stronger. Only weak men abuse girls. I'm an action movie star by which saving and protecting girls is job.

It's a feeling of comfort. She needs to stand up to him and not allow the abuse to happen. He keeps wanting her back because he has abused her and it's a comfort zone. He/she doesn't have to go looking for a new victim.
