reason for asking is because a manager thinks that if all employees not making minimum wage recieve a raise that all managment should get one also , like one person makes 6.75 and they get a 10 cent raise to meet mw.and a manager makes 7.00 why should they recieve a raise also?

I used to work for McDonald's when minimum wage was $3.35 an hour. We were supposedly entitled to an evaluation every so often with an accompanying raise. When minimum wage went up a dollar more and we employees were up for our yearly evaluation and raise, we got a raise all right ... the cheapskate gave us a buck raise to meet minimum wage! Believe me, if no one is willing to report management to the Board of Labor for whatever reason, they can get away with anything.

raise is not based on the minimum wage. If you are at a level above a group of people you also should be entitled for a salary upgrade when the people working at lower levels get few more dollars. any sensible company will pay according to the merits and positions of individuals. So for any reason minimum wage is raised you too will be getting an additional pay increase.

no. this is the problem with democrats. they want to raise the minimum wage and expect the economy to flourish. how is that possible? raising the minimum wage is a government enforced increase in expenses for companies. increasing the expenses means the profits will decrease. decreasing profits means lay offs and other generally unwanted effects from a company.

how can any working person be a democrat?

It is against the labor law if you do not make at least mw, and its not fair for someone to get a raise unless they have truly earned it.
