The most rewarding is that you know that you were able to lead someone in the right direction and the most challenging aspect is if there is a situation that you are unsure of you will do your best at finding the right answer or solution

I like this question. For me the challenging aspects is the retention of my subordinates' confidence towards the leadership. The reward is respect.

proactiveness is most important. You being a leader should see the road and destination ahead of others. "Leading" only can be by leaders.

Making decisions on your own, that are best for you, instead of being a follower and doing what others want you to do, so that they can benefit from it.
