I hope the boy will be OK and not too badly frightened.
Violence of any sort is evil but especially against children. I've had more black/asian friends attack physically and verbally by white thugs than vice versa.
Stevie B is the kind of bigot who believes that violence from some Asians against whites justifies this sort of behaviour. She hasn't even read your question properly.

Have you any evidence that this case was racially motivated or are you jumping to conclusions? You say that you had to see this family for your work. Given that this area is obviously prone to violence, I surmise that it is an area that is not particularly wealthy. You obviously play the race card immediately without questioning other motives and I therefore am predisposed to think you work for a local authority, possibly as a social worker. If you are a social worker this family has problems, and it's reasonable to think that this may be in part or whole to do with the 12 year old. Had he rubbed somebody up the wrong way by being repeatedly cheeky or offensive or by trying to damage the car? Does he cause unrest in the neighbourhood? For God's sake if you want to declaim somebody establish your facts first and don't just go on a rant. You do more harm to race relations like that than the National front ever managed.

These are total scum. Unfortunately, regardless of race, colour, creed, or anything else, there will always be a minority of horrible people in any society.

So he drove off in a car. Short of having a compulsory tracking facility in every car (road pricing by the mile, anybody?), I doubt he'll ever be caught. Probably stolen, anyway.

I know it's a cliche, but lack of discipline and a proper upbringing were what produced this scumbag. Even so, a grown man should know the difference between right and wrong. I despair.

It very bad to hear about that situation. People don't think. No matter what color or race you are...we all have red blood in our veins. When we died at the end is ashes. We have good and bad people in all races. Poor and rich in all races as well. What happen instead the old guy hit the youngest was the other way. The only thing that I could tell you is ...no matter what color you are, what color of eyes you have...we all are the same in front of GOD

the person who said all that stuff bout the asian dudes, yeah sure, but thats racism too, and also needs to be stamped out. just cuz those asian dudes did it doesn't mean that the thug that did this should be told "oh its ok, cuz they did it to us first!".
it doesn't matter who does it, what matters is innocent people get hurt. kids who can't defend themselves, and if that guys daughter was raped (by a TWELVE year old!) he's only making things worse for his daughter by landing himself with GBH charges or whatever, although i highly doubt this guy had any reason for attacking that kid. it's not defendable, it never was and it never will be, and have you noticed that all those that have tried sound ridiculous. sometimes i hate people, and this is one of those times.

i think it has to do with what generation you are for example my parents are old skool theuy are racist however im not but i think if you grow up in a contry (at the time) where there is maybe a few ethnic minorities and then it grow you cant deal with the change but if you grow up now-a-days because there are so many ethnic minorities within england you grow up with it and its normal for you if you see what i mean.
i mean a grown man hitting a child its terrible you cant stress enough how wrong it is but if you are brain washed in to thinking like that it is who you are going to become.
i think any form of racism is wrong and it should be stoppped now.

That is disgusting and frightening. Certainly everybody that I know would sympathise with you and your son. It beggars belief! Just to reassure you, there are plenty of decent people around of every race that will be sickened by what has happened, as I am. Hope the lad recovers quickly!

a friend of mine told me last night her friends daughter and boyfriend went for a night out at the pictures and they were attacked by a group of drunken asian thugs, they had to go to the hospital after he had a bottle smashed over his head... it was all recorded on cctv, but the police told them they have had orders from on high not to prosecute asians ands muslims as they dont want to offend the etnic minority... nice eh? so now it's not even safe to be a white person in England as they have given the immigrants the right to anything they want

While it appears pretty awful, I should like to know the full story before passing judgement. Asian children are generally well behaved but I should like to hear the reason for the attack nevertheless.
