Its not.

The word evolved implies evolution, the definition of evolution is any process of formation or growth; development.
Or more specifically in biology, change in the gene pool of a population from generation to generation by such processes as mutation, natural selection, and genetic drift.

Humans did not however evolve from the apes alive today, we simply share a common ancestor.

It isn't. Genetic studies indicate that the Homo sapiens genome shares 98+% of its structure with Old World apes and such. Comparing physiological structures shows some close similarities. If nothing else, the suspicion that HIV may have evolved from SIV would suggest that humans and apes were somewhat related due to the susceptibility of the species to the particular immunodeficiency virii.

It is not. We didn't exactly evolve from apes. "Apes" and what we commonly call a human would have descended from a common ancestor. Thus, we have about 99% similar DNA and many similar characteristics. We are slightly more cognitive thinkers, however much less adapt to strength, speed, and things like climbing.

We did not actually evolve from apes, we branched off from apes early on in the evolutionary stages as our own unique clade. Thus we are related to apes but were never actually apes, it is believed we have a common ancestor with them.

It's not. It's all relative... an ape is much more complex than say, a grasshopper. A grasshopper is much more complex than a nematode. A nematode is much more complex than algae.
