To find the reciprocal of a number means that you have to divide 1 with the number
reciprocal(x)=1/x
in your example 1/3*(9-4) we first reduce the expression simply by calculating 9-4=5
now we have x=5/3 =>
1/x=1/(5/3)
we can reduce this expression because we remember that
(a/b)/(c/d)=a*d/b*c
1/x=(1/1)*(3/5)=3/5
