my grandma left in her will 400 shares of stocks she owned from LAMR could someone tell me what they are worth now if I cashed them in

lamar advertising. it is worth $57/share. 400 shares is worth $22,800

ok you know whats its worth by now.....heres what i would do.

It is a pretty good stock to hold on to. MSN Money gives it a power rating of 5 right now, with a low risk to lose money, and to match the market over the next 6 months, but it does have a good outlook on earning over the next FY. I would hold on to it and cash it later for greater returns.

look at the nystock exchange report in your news paper the price changes daily on most stock

also remember that your cost basis (the price at which you start paying tax) is the price of the stock on her date of death. any price increase thereafter you will owe taxes.
