Agricultural and mechanical. Some assume the M is for military because of the Corps of Cadets at Texas A&M. Officially the A&M does not stand for anything after the name was changed from Texas A&M College to Texas A&M University.

AGRICULTURAL AND MECHANICAL .........they had a serious fire in their library last week......one of the books wasn't even colored in yet....they were really mad....one their star football stars flunked math...so they gave him a test right before the big game so as to allow him to play....what is 1+1?...he thought and thought and answered "2"....the entire team jump up and said "Ah come on Coach give him another chance!!".....GO HORNS!!
