It is baby fat, it will go away. All three of my kids had those chubbies, and as they grew taller, they all trimmed up.

Well I noticed my son had a chubby belly at a certain month-like around 6 months... because the rest of his body hadn't gone through the growth spurt..but once he hit that growth spurt, his body adjusted evenly. Now he's 13 months, and doesn't really have a big belly anymore.

Because there bodies are still developing and there tummies are trying to adjust the organs properly, and when a baby eats the stomach is still adjusting to digest.

Total guess... but I think maybe it is because all of their organs are scrunched up in such a small space.... ?
