I do not feel any prejudice towards people of any race, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, age, religion, or spirituality. I believe so strongly that all humans should be treated fairly and equally. I have given up friendships and relationships because of this belief.
There are so few things I feel are worth standing up and fighting for - against anyone at any time...this is one of those things.
I hope your question isn't asked because you are struggling to understand why someone is discriminating towards you, but I fear it is. My sincerest wish is that you find the answers you are looking for and are able to know that no matter what prejudicial thing anyone says or does to you - NO MATTER WHAT, it's never about you. Hate and ignorance are ALWAYS about the person speaking or acting. Know that, try to educate them if the opportunity is there and be confident and calm in the knowledge that it is NOT ABOUT YOU.
