people who dont believe that there is a god or that there is nothing after death are these called athiests why would some1 have such a view of this life .....i believe that there is a god that there is more to come when we die and that it comforts me to think i wont be alone when i die .... the truth is out there

you believe in an afterlife because you have both faith and fear. It starts with your fear of the unknown(what happens after we die), and to ease this fear you have faith, that believing in Jesus will guarantee you a better life after this one is over. I don't have a fear of what will happen after I die. I know, (mostly decomp) and the fact that there is nothing after death isnt scary enough to make me seek out answers with no proof.
