Are you able to disolve or easily remove insulating foam?

Iam trying to repair a hot tub with leaking pipes and the foam makes it difficult to track the source. If I could somehow disolve the foam, I could find and repair them all.

Acetone (available at Lowes or Home Depot) should dissolve it instantly. Just don't get it on the tub or anything else plastic.
