This turnover was bound to happen- it was more that people wanted a change rather than the other party- and when they get mad at the Demacrats it will flip the other way- it would be nice to stop the partisan fighting and have govn. work for a change for the people of America. I think a shake up is good- but the possiblities of what a house and senate of Demacrats will do is scary- there are no wounds to lick- voting, changing and all that goes with it is what this country is built on-

Action can speak for himself. He said 'yes' & kindly provided you with a link in response to your impolite question.

Having said that:

I'm American & I'm not shy. Frankly, I have no idea what wounds you think might have been inflicted, but I'd suggest that you go and check your sources because you've been completely mislead.

Once you do that, then perhaps you can add details & be a bit more specific. Then we Americans might actually be able to answer an intelligent question instead of inane, inflammatory, nonsense.

Americans, shy? Have you been using? I'm American, and far from shy. And what wounds would we be licking? I'm thrilled the democrats are rising to power.

Licking what wounds? I see no reason to get all worried. I for one am in the middle of packing to go out of town for the weekend.

The conservatives stayed home and the moderates voted democrat becuause they felt betrayed by the neo-conseratives spend like crazy habits and thumb twiddling on illegal immigration and the democrats took advantage.

I'm conservative and although i like Bush's proactive stance on terrorism i don't agree with his domestic policies though i did like the tax cuts (if you have kids you got a tax cut if you took advantage of it that is). I'm willing to part with a tax cut during wartime though if it helps secure victory against what's left of Al-Queda.

What wounds? Everyone I know is THRILLED with the election results. I am also not shy today, so I don't really understand the question.
