Besides Henry Lee, you could mention the man who developed the STR method of DNA analysis, an Englishman by the name of Dr. Alec Jeffreys. This molecular biologist is responsible for discovering the method of DNA analysis still in use today. Or William M. Bass, the forensic anthropologist who founded the famous "body farm" at Univ of Tennessee, he's retired, but still alive.
