I am worried about a friend of mine as she has been upset recently. When i ask her whats wrong she wont answer or gets really annoyed. I am worried about her. Would reading her diary help me to help her? Or is it just wrong?

If you have to think bout it... then it is prob not a good idea. Try talkin to her again... i no it might be hard but violationg her privacy is not the answer.. Imagine if she found out

If your instincts tell you that something is SERIOUSLY wrong and that she will benefit from this, it might be a good idea. But be very careful! If she catches you she probably won't trust you again. If you do decide to do it, don't talk about what you read! If it turns out that she's doing fine but is just tired or something else, don't keep bringing it up. You'll end up annoying her and possibly lose her as a friend. However, if you find out that she's depressed or in a bad situation (family or such), talk to her parents or someone that both you and your friend trust. Tell this adult not to tell her that you snooped though!

You do not have the right to read another person's diary. Be a friend-be honest with her and tell her that you're worried about her, and tell her why. But do not invade her privacy. If she would find out, she may not forgive you for it. Would you like it is someone read your most private, intimate written thoughts?

From what you've said, I think it would be alright. Now days people have so many problems & many don't know how to ask for help. If you think she may be in trouble then read on. The only thing I have to say is that be careful because people write down emotions that they are feeling at that moment without ever thinking about it. You need to prepare Yourself just incase there are things in there about yourself. No getting mad, You've probably had the same feelings Happy Reading

A diary is a personal thing and should only read by the person it belongs too. If you are really concerned about your friend you should talk to her-im sure she would be really annoyed and cross at you if she knew youd read it.

It is wrong..so wrong, but hey, I'd bet anybody out there will read other's diary also when they get a chance even though they know it's wrong. It's just a matter of who has enough guts to admit. Thats all.

im never okay with people reading others peoples diaries because i had diary myself and i did not like it when someone read it but if you think this is dat serious maybe you should but if she is just heart broken or a little upset then dont it will probably just pass but if you think she might try to kill herself or something then you should because you wouldnt want to feel like you could of done something
*dont tell her you read it tho...:/ she will be so mad because she probably wont understand you are trying to help

it is wrong indeed. If your friend has written in her diary what has been upsetting her and hasn't told you, then it is pretty obvious that she doesn't want you to know. She might be embarassed about it. Tell her that regardless of the problem you will always be by her side to help her.

For no reason at all should you invade somones privacy with out their concent. I think maybe she's going through some tough times and its somthing she feels like she wants to deal with on her own. Give her time and space and just let her know that whenever she's ready to talk and when ever she needs a friend you'll be available to her. Dont give her one more thing to be upset about. Good Luck

Do not read her diary! If she doesn't want to tell you, she won't want you finding out any other way. Accept she doesn't want to talk about it and stop asking her what's wrong. She will tell you in time - most women can't wait to 'get it off their chests'!

That would be wrong to read someones diary. If somethings wrong she'll probaly talk when she is ready if u give her space.
