Well in NM if you're a certain woman running for the Public Regulation Commission, all you do is refuse to campaign or answer questions or questionnaires, hang up on reporters, don't develop a website, don't debate, don't tell anyone what you plan to do in this $90K/yr position, don't give any indication of what qualifications or education you have for this position that covers everything from energy rates to insurance to telecommunications- basically you stonewall everyone while your opponent, who happens to be a well-qualified Green, campaigns, talks, meets, give interviews, gets endorsed by everyone and eventually gets beaten on Nov. 7th because lazyars voters can't be bothered to fill in the little oval beyond that of straight party Dem or learn about the various lesser candidates!!!
So, in a nutshell, that's the American process of campaign work in the 21st century.
You don't even have to shake a hand or kiss a baby anymore!
