I know this isn't a natural cure, but I've suffered from vertigo off and on. My Doctor prescribed a medicine for motion sickness and it helped. Has your husband been diagnosed with tinnitus? Often the sound of static, although usually irritating, can actually relieve ringing in the ears, try turning on a floor fan, or put a radio on between stations so you are just getting static, put it at a comfortable level. Good Luck, hope he feels better soon.

I had two severe bouts with Vertigo. Both times I woke up in the morning yelling and screaming like I was on a roller coaster or in a spaceship spinning out of control. The first bout lasted a week (barely left the bed for the toilet on my hands and knees) then second bout lasted 5 days. I got to a doctor that told me I had Labrynthitis (all he did was lay be back on the bench and pulled me forward and the room was spinning). He gave me pills similar to BONINE and said take them when I feel it coming on. I did for awhile. But my problem now is functioning every day. If I am laying down it happens when I rise (3-5 mins). Sometimes if I turn to fast or rise from a prone position. I dont like to pop pills so I dumped them.
I also am looking for a alternate cure than drugs. I was speaking to a lady one day and she said her husband went to a doctor for the same thing and was given exercises you can do from a chair. It is working the eyes and head. It is really supposed to help. You may find something like this on the NET.
Good luck

I have had vertigo since I was small, I have never asked for a cure, I suppose mine isn't severe, however, I have ringing in the ears, about drove me crazy at one point, Dr's. told me to quit taking aspirin, ringing in ears is because allergic to aspirin ? might be worth a try, worked for me,8 years now.

There is no treatment of the disorder with any therapy except Acupuncture. Go to an acupuncturist and you will be out of trouble. If you don't find one think visiting us.

Not at all, my good Pumpkin! I'd simply turn into a vampire bat, and fly away!
