I don't recall republicans crying when they loose like you saw happen with gore and kerry. When the Republicans swept to power in 94 the media wrote it off as a voter "Temper Tantrum". Republicans normally step down if they are involved in controversy. Dem's on the other hand have really got some brass ones though. My personal favorite is Marion Barry, who was caught on video tape smoking crack at the No Tell Motel
with some hooker and the maniac has the audacity to run again. Why not? His constituency voted him back in proving once again the Democrat mentality of, He might be a corrupt dirt bag, but, he's our corrupt dirt bag. The list goes on and on. I have seen it in NJ for ages.

Yes, there are several challenges, most by Republicans.

And there are continuing investigations based on alleged voter fraud in many jurisidictions, regardless of who won.

Politics isn't supposed to be a game. One party doesn't get to decide whether the game was played fairly based on whether the won or lost. Elections are conducted according to laws, and if the laws are being broken, it's always in everyone's best interest to find out who and how, and to stop them from breaking the law again.

I agree...Republicans (generally speaking) are a class act. Democrats seem to point the finger at anyone who will listen (again, just a generalization...not all Republicans OR Democrats are great)
