I met this guy and we moved in together. My problem is that his ex is often at his folks home. She has a son (not my guys child) that his folks love and treat him like their own grandchild. But his mom has made thim upset and they say they don't want her to come around.Their too nice to tell her. Its really upsetting to me. This woman has gone as far as to say she was dying and that she has willed her child to my guy and she wanted to get to know me cause I was gonna be his new mom when she is gone. Needless to say that was a lie. I really don't like this woman and I can't even stand to talk to her but I keep the peace. Not sure how long that will last. She talks about me behind my back and is nice to me when she sees me. What should I do?

You need to have a serious heart to heart with your husband. Explain to him how you feel and make sure he's on the same page as you. If you need to, involve the authorities. It sounds like this woman is a little bit shy of a full deck. Be careful.

First off no one can will a child to another, you can ask that person if they will be a guardian, but you can not just will a child to some one especially when they are not blood related. Next tell this woman you would prefer not to be in the same room as her, so avoid her in this manner if she is there you leave.

You guy need to step up and put an end to this behavior of his ex's. While I can understand his parent's attachment to his ex's child, there is no real relationship there. Since the ex is abusing that affection, all contact between his parents and the ex needs to stop. And your guy needs to be the one to handle it.
