The us federal reserve wants a origin of funds and it costs 10% of the amount to get this origin of funds from another country and I cannot afford it because it is for like 17.2million dollars so the 10% would cost 1.72million dollars and I have someone to loan me the money. How could they send it to me on a credit card? I only thought you could charge on a credit card but how do you send money on one. Is it even possible? Would it be like a cash advance if someone deposited that amount with the credit card company?

I would never give out my credit card number. For large sums of money, wiring is always safe. I used to work at a bank and often times people would wire large amounts to other countries.

Somebody is trying to hose you. If you had some kind of flexible spending account that money could be added on to then you could do it. Someone is trying to get your credit card number and have a lovely holiday season on you.

You are a sucker being scammed. There is no such 10% fee and the scam artists in Nigeria don't have $17.2M either. How on earth do people get to be so incredibly stupid that they fall for this sort of stuff?

Watch it! Sounds bad from here. Don't give your credit card to them.

Whatever you're talking about sounds fishy...but you could always try one of those "prepaid" visas.
