Once. He was in the Army Reserves and said he wanted to go into active duty status and finish his commitment in 2 years instead of in 4. I said either army or me, and he chose the army. So a month later he calls me and is all like boo hoo I still love you and I was all like boo hoo I still love you too. It was sappy but whatever. So I said I wasn't going to live like a monk for 2 years and we agreed to have an open relationship, making me into the dog I am today. We're still together. 9 years.

Had a really bad break-up with my ex, then eventually we did try again after we'd both recovered a bit, but there were too many bad memories and emotional baggage, and in the end it became clear that it wasn't going to work so we split up again. My fault, right from the start, and I don't blame him for never wanting to go back there. We're best friends now, which is what we were before we became lovers. Even though I still love him, I know I can never have him back, and it still hurts.

Only about every time we argue!!! My girlfriend and I are both very stubborn and have wild tempers...we tend to say a lot of things we don't mean and it usually ends up with me packing my bags ( with no real intention of leaving ) and her stopping me ( knowing that I would never go anyway )...it is crazy but we both know in our hearts that we couldnt survive without each other!!

Never have and doubt that I ever would.
I tend to move on with my life pretty quickly and do not maintain contact with any of my exes.....only exception being my daughter's mother.
