There is a christmas movie that i can only remember one scene from. There is a little girl, and her dad is marrying a new women. She never knew who her mom was. But a women becomes her nanny?babysitter?friend? of hers, and when they were decorating the Christmas tree, they bring out this huge star to put on the top of the tree. The new wmoen he's going to marry puts its on top, but the women (real mom) faints because it was passed down through her family. i know this is confusing, but if you know what movie this is, or any information about it I really appriciate the help

It is called The Christmas tree and it is very old and the dad at first would not let her have a tree because the mom had died,So every year at Christmas they would give the tree from school to people who did not have a tree and this little girl won it.If this is the right movie you are speaking of than it is The Christmas Tree

It's not Stepmom, if she never knew who her mom was. In that movie the mom(susan sarandon) was dying and the ex had remarried(julia roberts).
Other than that, I don't know.

i admire the "A diva's Christmas Carol" starring vanessa williams.. she become a super headed diva who would not have a heart until some twist of events she grew to become style *additionally starring Kathy Griffin
