It depends. Rabbits are social animals. However, if they DO have a playmate (of their own species), they tend to prefer them over their human playmates. Your rabbit will probably continue to be more affectionate towards YOU if she is the only bunny. HOWEVER... you have to think about HER needs. Are you going to be able to provide her a good amount of quality time with you for her entire life? If not, then a 2nd bunny is probably the best thing for her. Nothing sadder than a lonely bunny. And if she's already THAT friendly (I wish my bunny was THAT friendly... he likes to be petted, but he'd never go on my shoulders!) chances are she'll always be a lover.

The clicking sound may be actually teeth grinding which is like a cat's purr, it means they're very happy. I've never heard of rabbits licking a person, or sitting on their shoulder. She may consider you her mother because she is so young and should still be with her real mother. At such a young age she should still be drinking milk from her mother but since that's not an option, give her alfalfa hay and pellets. You may want to check with the vet on a more detailed diet. It is always better for a rabbit to have a friend to play with when you're not there, but make sure you bond them correctly.

We had a rabbit like this once, would sit in your lap, on your shoulder and rub your legs! the clicking sound equals that of a cat purring, so a good sign!
had to get rid when hubby went to Nigeria to work.......a sad moment to give her away!
Rabbits, I believe are better on their own, if have spent time apart, as they tend to fight for territory!

The licking is a great sign - it shows that she really likes you and is obviously very affectionate.
If you have the money and the rabbit hutch is larger enough for both rabbits when they get bigger - then get a little companion for her.
I wouldn't suggest getting a male as they might fight and might produce un-wanted litters.

Licking sounds fine...as long as the clicking sound doesn't coincide with breathing patterns, I wouldn't be worried. There could be something in its lungs if there are clicks with every breath...but if that's not the case, then it's probably normal.

rabbits will eat on my own on the age of four weeks and that they could be seperated from their mum at that age if there's a issue yet no good guy or woman ought to sell you a rabbit on the age of four weeks. at a similar time as they eat on my own at that age they are in basic terms ingesting enought to sustaine themselves yet not positioned on weight as they are transforming into so rapid. they dont acrtualy start to place the burden on good untill they are 9 weeks previous whilst the upward thrust starts to slow a sprint, untill then all their feed is going into capability simply by their speedy boost. all my youthful have been seperated from mum as quickly as I observed them ingesting good or as quickly as I observed mum push them away, some rabbits do this at 4 weeks at a similar time as some did it at 6, the two way whilst that they had 2 weeks removed from mum and that i grew to become into particular they grew to become into ingesting good and the upward thrust grew to become into properly, mine used to pass away my assets no before than 8 weeks and then have a 2 week quarantine era on the keep previously being bought at a minimum of 10 weeks. there's a condition that some youthful rabbits can get that provides indicators such as Myxomatosis yet after the rabbit is 10 weeks previous they are regularly previous that hazard point that's why i dont ever reccomend a rabbit it is youthful that 10 weeks, the greater youthful can get it even tho they don't look to be in touch with something contminated, in the event that they grew to become right into a poultry it could be stated as going mild in case you have become a rabbit then get it from a appropriate breeder and not this woman as i could be fearful approximately her awareness right here, and continuously ask for the date of delivery and what they are being ate up and shop the feed a similar first of all to circumvent any disenchanted stomachs bear in innovations that's perplexing to tell the genders aside untill they are 8 weeks previous and that they are waiting to reproduce on the age 4 months so shop girls and boys folk seperate in case you dont desire an unpredicted muddle, and that they are going to initiate then to be teritorial and combat to income dominance inspite of the genders and the fact they are siblings. in fact i stumbled on the appropriate reaction grew to become into to maintain rabbits housed seperatly and cope with them each and on a daily basis, that way they bond with you and not th different rabbit(s)
