Begin to study right away. Make a schedule of time spent in preparation. That way, when test time is approaching, you will have learned so much that a brief review is all you will need.

Best Wishes,

I was 34 when I went to University to study environmental science and Geology. There were lots of other students of simular age . I have 4 children and still managed to get a good honours degree. Yes go for it it's not as hard as people first think it is and universities favour mature students entering medicine. You have at least another 30 years of work life ahead of you, so investing in your future with a good career is an excellent idea. Go for it , if you really want to do it all things like finance, childcare ect will fall into place and regrets are not what you want Good luck for your future.

The best thing to do is to keep studying material over and over again while you're getting it. This way you can avoid cramming like the others and it's more likely everything will be retained in your long-term memory.
