I've found that there is not a lot you can do about your friends using drugs even if you want to. You can tell them your concerned and tell them in detail why you are concerned but be forewarned it will probably cause tension between you two if you push the issue....espcially if they don't want to hear it and you could possibly loose your friend completely.

Possession of pot is illegal. You can report your friend to the police, although in all likelyhood he will see that as the end of your friendship. Your friend needs help to get off the drugs, suggest that he go into therapy.

First, make sure that ur friend was serious about his remark(he may have been simply joking) Then you should explain to him how much it surprises you that he would make a decision like that. Tell him your worried about his health and safety. Say things like this as a worried friend not an accuser. Be blunt and yet don't push him.

talk to him about it. however, you might want to get educated on weed first. do some research so you can have an intelligent conversation about it. it's not the same as crack and it won't make you sell everything you own to get it. if you're going to do a drug, weed is actually the safest.

There isn't really anything you can do...
it's his choice, to do drugs. But you can explain how it will affect his life and just point out why it's wrong to do it. And if and when he quits, be supportive.

STFU soberman. Let your friend toke away. If you choose not to participate, then thats your choice. If he wants to blaze, then thats his choice. Remember, he is the same person he was BEFORE you found out. Join him, and find out what your missing. :-D

hey its just weed. calm down. I guess you can tell him your concerns and weed is a gateway drug. but don;t get all this is your brain on drug preachy. Show him your concern and be vigilant of his habits and behaviors. Hang out with him and try to do sober things.

I know you're probably disappointed. People make stupid decisions in life... you can't tell him to stop. The most you can do is talk to him and let him know you're concerned.
