makeup mess!?

heyy kids! so i have a TON of make up, lotion etc in my room... just lieing infront of my mirror which is leaning against the wall... not even attached to anything. so it is not organized AT ALL! how can i organize this rather then just sticking it in a bucket and leaving it by my mirror that leans against the wall ??? i dont want my boyfriend to come over and look at a big bucket with makeup and lotions and nailpolish etc, he'd think i'm NUTS! but i think if i have it more organized he might think "hey, she's cool... she's organized" or maybe not... but he'd think better of me if it's organized and not just piled randomly.... how can i do this??

Makeup goes bad after a while...especially mascara and foundation. Pick the colors that you use the most in blush and eyeshadow. Lotions. If you are like me you keep them until you have to turn the bottle upside down to get that one last squirt out. If there is only 3 or 4 more uses in the bottle then toss it...or if you just can't part then you should use the same one EVERY DAY...until it's gone before using another. A great way to store lotions is to get one of those door hanging wire racks that goes in the kitchen and attach to the wall. Keeps them up off the floor and you can put littler bottles and makeups in there too. Or a hanging organizer that is clear plastic that has a zillion pockets so you can organize and still see.

Well If its makeup you should throw it away every 6 months to stop the spreading of bacteria. (Thats the gross stuff that end up giving you pimples) If its lotion then keep what you use or will use and store then in a cabinet or on a shelf, then give everything that you don't use away, to a little sister maybe. Who knows maybe you boyfriend could even use some moisture

I have a ton of makeup too, and I've got it all organized in a lilttle sectioned basket with three partitions. I keep all the stuff for eyes in one section, face/cheeks in another, and lips in the third one. I put the whole basket in a drawer in my bathroom. I keep my manicure/pedicure stuff in a separate box which I keep in another drawer in my bathroom. Don't worry, guys expect to see stuff like that in a girl's house.

Get rid of EVERYTHING that you've not used in six months, especially makeup. Use a little carry-all to separate your lotions, nail polishes, and makeup items and stack them however you want along your mirror.

haha. ur funny. k, so first i think you should go through it and get rid of the things you dont want (you might be suprised at how much junk you have) Then put then in groups for example: eye-make up, lotions,blushes ect. then find something to put them in. also, you might want to attatch ur mirrior to the wall. lol

buy a caboodle type thing- a case with compartments, and keep it in your bathroom, under the sink or something.
Or they have those plastic mini stackable drawers too.

First things first- get rid of the stuff you dont really like or wont really use- and hang on to stuff you use most

get some plastic drawers and put it in there - one for lotions, one for eye makeup, one for lipstick/gloss, one for tools, etc. It will totally save you time as well.

if he sees it, just show him the few items you use everymorning and just tell him everything else is "just in case" you have to be yourself when it comes to things like this because eventually you may be living with a boyfriend
