Definitely NOT on one knee --- someplace that is special to just us (we have a running joke about all the time we spent driving together) or at 'our' restaurant.

Well I'm already married and I loved the way my husband proposed. He took me out on our anniversary. We went to dinner and then we went to an art opening that his friend was having. I didn't really want to go but he was very excited about it so I went along with him. When we first got there we pretty much were just saying our hellos. After being there about 30 minutes and says to me, "Come with me, you have to see this painting that B (his friend) just finished. So we headed toward where it was, the next thing I knew all of his friends were following us. I didn't think much of it. We get to the painting and it was bright red with some very abstract writting on it that said: Will You Marry Me Stacey?
I turned around and there was my husband holding the most beautiful ring ever.
I of course said yes and we have been together for 4 years now.
(And I still have the painting hanging in my living room!)

spontaneously, without expectation. I like suprises. Either that or in some place that has a sentimental meaning to both me and my partner.

All I ask is that he doesn't go down on one knee. It's so cliche and expected. I would like it to be spontaneous. When men go down on one knee, you know what he is gonna do.

SUCH AS A ROMANTIC GET A WAY...JUST THE TWO OF US...TO RELAXING LOCATION...WITH BEAUTIFUL GARDENS...AND LOTS AND LOTS OF FLOWERS AND WATERFALLS !!!
OF COURSE I WANT IT TO BE A SURPRISE AND FOR HIM TO HAVE THOUGHT OF IT ALL BY HIMSELF !!!
