I often visit an old man who cannot leave the house.
He has no other company as he is a miserable person who scares people.
I do this out of the goodness of my heart and receive no payment.
Will God reward me for this or do you think i should just ask this man to put me in his will??

You can do loads of good things on earth, but untill you take Jesus into your life and repent of the sins you have done, you won`t go to Heaven read John 3, that will help you, God can see what you are doing, He His waiting for you

First of all only God himself can judge weather you're going to Heaven or Hell. Secondly why would you ask this complete stranger to put you in his will? You're not his family and he never asked you to do this for him! It seems to me your just doing this because you think you'll get some kind of money out of this or just to say you've done your good deed in life!

Ask yourself, why am i doing this, is it to help the man, for financial gain, or to get into heaven, it should be just to help him and not for reward of any kind otherwise you are just a sad insecure hypocrite

you started off great the fell with a bang, If you do something out of the goodness of your heart then why would you want paying, you know your motives. It sounds like your getting ready to fleece the poor guy.

i would rather lay my treasures in Heaven rather than on earth because all worldy things would vanish one day ("Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal." Matthew 6:19-20) but if you lay your treasures in Heaven, you will one day receive your reward from God. altho u go not have a first class ticket to go to heaven now, you have 2nd class, to go to Heaven, you must give ur life to Jesus Christ and accept Him as your Savior. by receiving Jesus and doing good things without expecting a reward, you will surely go to heaven

keep visiting the man and even do more kind things to pple out of the goodness of your heart and the good Lord would reward you abundantly

=)

' For by grace (God's unmerited favour towards us) you are saved. It is the GIFT of GOD, not of WORKS (good deeds done by us to impress God), lest anyone should boast (futile attempt to justify our self- righteousness before a holy and perfect God)..Ephesians Chpt 2, verses 8&9.

You'll go to heaven.
Hey, I once saved a car full of nuns from getting into what was sure to be a deadly accident. True story. Do you think I'll go to heaven?

You said this was the real you so I'm afraid there's nothing you can do. If it's been the goodness of your heart up to now you wont be able to make yourself do it for any other reason. Expect nothing and life might surprise you one day.

that is very kind of you to do that. what i dont understand is why people cant just do things out of the kindness of their heart without expecting something in return? you will go to heaven if you ask god to forgive you for all sins and admit that you are truely sorry for the wrong that you have done. you dont ask someone to put you in their will. that is very selfish.
