I think we need one hardline dem and a center dem like Senator Reid...two hard line dems spell trouble to me...what do you think ?

You are half correct .Pelosi is a way out there lefty but Reid is far from the middle. Maybe some of those conservative Democrats would be good. They aren' t ultra righters but gotta be better than Murtha ,Reid or Pelosi.

I hope Pelosi keeps her word. She made a promise today to work with the Republicans as well as the Dems. We all know how Murtha feels, the question is can the rest of the Democrats keep him from pushing through his agenda?
I guess some are right about going to hell in a hand basket, but the basket was made in China.

I think you have a point, but I think initially we don't need someone weak in the Senate! We only have the Senate by 1 seat!
