3/4 dividedby (1/3+1/2)
Using PEMDAS or BODMAS, we do the problem in the bracket first
1/3+1/2
Find the LCM of the denominators which is 6
2 + 3
_____
6
= 5/6
3/4 dividedby 5/6
we need to convert the "dividedby" to "multiplication" and to do this we must invert the fraction on the right side of the division sign, so we have:
3/4 X 6/5
= 3/2 X 3/5
= 9/10

1. First simplify the denominator: what is the least common denominator of 3 and 2? 6 since both are prime
2. Multiply top and bottom of each fraction by the same number so as not to change the value of the fraction:
1/3 x 2/2 = 2/6; 1/2 x 3/3 = 3/6
3. Add the two together: 2/6 + 3/6 = 5/6.
4. Use the reciprocal rule to convert to multiplication:
3/4 divided by 5/6 = 3/4 x 6/5:
3 x 6 = 18 and 4 x 5 = 20, so you get 18/20.
5. Reduce by factoring out the common factor of 2:
18/20 = 9/10.
You could have factored out the 2 in step 4 as well.

Do the parentheses first: 1/3 + 1/2 = 2/6 + 3/6 = 5/6.
Now do the division: Invert the divisor and multiply:
3/4 * 6/5 = 18/20 = 9/10.

is the question complete because it looks like it has been ended in the middle??
and if it is lets start solving it
(3/4)/(1/3+1/2)
first we will solve the denominator part
1/3+1/2=(3+2)/6=5/6
so now we have,
(3/4)/(5/6)
when one fraction is divided by another u have to multiply the first fraction with the reciprocal of the second number(meaning the denominator becomes the numerator;the numeratorbecomes the denominator)
(3/4)*(6/5)
=(3*6)/(4*5)
=18/20
=9/10 //reducing to the lowest term
=0.9
hope that helps!!!

since 1/3 = 2/6 and 1/2 = 3/6 then 1/3 + 1/2 = 5/6
(3/4)/(5/6) is the same as (3/4)*(6/5) and equals 18/20
or 9/10 which is 0.9
hope that helps

the value is 0.9 or 9/10. Just follow these steps
3/4 divided by ( 1/3 + 1/2 )
(3/4) / {( 2+3) / 6 ) finding the lowest common factor of the denominator.
(3/4) / (5/6)
(3/4) * (6/5)
(3*6) / (4*5)
18 / 20
9 / 10
0.9
