Ok being that its 4:10 am I'm a little tired so my facts might be a little off. The wrestling we know and love today was once nothing more then a sideshow act in carneivals. With that being said they used riggers to sucker people in to last 3 mins with a guy in a circle. That begot the Squared circle and bookers, and agents. With that being said from the stand point of what we know professional wrestling to be its always been scripted it has to be. For the sake of not only the wrestlers but also everyone involved. Now adays there are matches being made that make the variable of scripting hard to do. Is the winner still pre determand yes its a story line it helps the story flow and make it more intresting to watch. If they went out there and litteraly kicked each others *** every monday night, Tuesday night (smackdown is taped on Tuesdays) then a lot of them wouldn't be walking out of the arena.

I think that wrestling is real for anyone that watches up until a certain age. Some realized it's at show at age 7 some reach 13 and are still in doubt.

Who cares anyway, it's entertaining and fun and if some people want to state here how much they hate wrestling fine, you're entitled to your opinion.

But what are you doing in the wrestling section anyway then?

there was a time up to the early eighties wrestling was real. the reason wrestling became fake was that bobby henan almost killed a guy with a wrestling move and at the time he owned part of the wrestling alliance when this happened he lost his nerve and quit wrestling. Then he decided that everything needed to be staged from then on. wrestlers say even today ric flair has a problem with pulling his punches.

Yeah wrestling used to be real and it still is. It's just wrestling brands where they do fake wrestling like WWE ECW and TNA, but you and anyone else could wrestle for real if they wanted to.
