I need a case where someone was sentenced the death penalty and latter was discovered innocent after being killed.

Google for recent news. Those stories have been in the news this past year. You also might find something on the ACLU website, as they are concerned with those cases.

Please dont use sacco-vanzetti. They did a ballistics test of the gun, and it was proven that they were the ones that shot him. Although the trial was a farse, later gun tests prove they were guilty.

you might want check out some lawyer insted of aking us but you can try court tv sentenceing history
