I was able to finally get a favorable judgement on my SSD case. However I will still not receive any checks for another 4 to 6 weeks However my children and I have to move this weekend. they say that I will receive back pay from 2003 till now but that does not help at this moment can any one tell me where I might be able to obtain an advancement of this judgement. All I need is $3000.00 for our move and bills until these checks come. can't find a place that will advance on this. PLEASE HELP I don't want my children to be out in the cold. If you know please let me know I am at my witts end with this for last 5 years already. Thank you!!

I don't think its possible, but you should talk to someone at the Social Security Department.

Good luck.

I'm a Genworth Agent, we SELL long-term care insurance and life insurance. I don't know what Michael R. is talking about.

It is possible that Soc Sec will write you emergency checks-I think no more than 1000 per person on your record. Go in and explain the situation, it has to seem like a dire need for them to issue it(such as no power, no place to live, etc.)-and depending on the claims rep you see they may require some proof. Try it.

Not possible. I have an aunt that has diabetes and had filed for SS disability. She was denied several times but then was awared benefits retroactively for 3 years (since first filing). The lump sum was blown in no time. My uncle and her bought a BRAND new car?!?
Good luck.

Go to Genworth.com . They buy out settlement claims. But they may be able to help you. Good luck

If you are able to type on this computer, you are able to get a job. Quit being a welfare tax sucking leach and get a job and support yourself and your children.
