I had the same problem and got a set of headphones by Sony that fit in the ear but also have a contoured part to fit behind the ear. They're designed for people that use their headphones whilst doing sport. You can type in these makes into a search engine to check out the style-
VITE MDRJ10L Earphones(about £10/$17) and
Fontopia MDR-EX81SLW Earphones(about £30/$51)

2 simple things u can do,get a special pair made 4 u or get a pair of cupped headphones like sony mdr700 for$100 witch i have.meaning they fit over your ears and they r isolated meaning u wont really ear anything thats around u even when the music is off,but the mdr700's may be to big 4 u,if they r try the smaller mdr20's for 20-25buscks @ best buy.
happy listeing,holla

Get the headphones that go over your head and can be moved to a certain size. If you have a small head, get really small ones or child-sized ones.

have you ever tried the ones that go round the back of your head? the ones lthat are like for keyboards that go over your head are big and unattractive, and if the little ones that go in your ear dont fit, you should try these. heres a picture:

Get lightweight headset like you have with your PC they adjust. Unless of course your gym exercises are really, really energetic, when I suppose you might find it difficult to keep all kinds of things on.
