My girlfriend is very self-concious. She always asks how she looks and doesn't like direct eye contact with me because she feels I would break up with her if I stared into her face too long. In truth, she is beautiful. I'm curious what you would think of her just based on looks {NOT TRYING TO SOUND SHALLOW}
She's 5'3, 105 lbs {I'd say she's more curvy than a stick figure though}. She has stereotypical Nordic features with an oval face, pale skin, white-blonde hair {dyed black}, and "small lips". I find her most stunning feature to be her eyes, which are a green that cannot be catagorized because they are so bright. She doesn't believe me when I say she's beautiful. She says she's too short, or her breasts are too small, or her butt isn't small enough {or big enough depending on what music video she has just watched}. What do you think?

I do love her personality as well. She's the female version of me. She's so perfect for me that I'd love to marry her. But I didn't ask about her personality. That is not what is bothering her. It's her looks, which I would never judge on a person.

She sounds stunning, a rare beauty. Please tell her to stop comparing herself to women she sees on TV. More times than not, those women have been digitally or physically enhanced and not representative of real women. Continue to shower her with praise, celebrate her wonderful attributes. Girls with low self-esteem need to built up not torn down. She is a beautiful unique individual and is so fortunate to have a loving, caring boyfriend like you in her life. You both are blessed.

She sounds pretty. Don't stop telling her you think she's beautiful. Sounds like she's got some serious self-esteem issues right now. Some girls are just that way. But every compliment builds their self-esteem a little more. And it's really sweet that you say such nice things about her.

She sounds beautiful on the outside but is missing something on the inside. Don't know how long you have been together but I have a friend who is gorgeous but isn't very confident and gets jealous which causes problems in her marriage.

I'd say she has self-esteem issues, but if she knew you were writing such kind words about her, it would make her day!
If YOU find her beautiful that is what's important. Keep telling her you think so, it will make her feel better about herself.
p.s. Modesty is an underrated quality.

I think she's just self-conscious has a low self-esteem. Don't tell her she's hot, but tell her she's beautiful. Tell her you love her eyes, or the other things about her. But be sincere and don't overdo it. But from what you say, she sounds very beautiful :-)

What do I think? I think you may be preoccupied with her physical attributes more than the person she is. Is she smart? Kind? If she is, try telling her so. Maybe she'd rather hear that than compliments on her body parts.
