On most of my girlfriend's pairs of jeans the pockets are so tight and small that my hand won't even fit in them.
Is this the case with all women's jeans?
Do the pockets serve any purpose when they are that small?
A guy can fit a ton o stuff in his pockets, but I guess that is because we normally don't carry around a bag.
Anyone?

Well, our hands are a lot smaller than a man's hands. Mine are tiny. And I'm pretty tiny, so my jeans are little, so of course there is no way for a man to put his big hands in my tiny pockets.
And besides if our hands get cold, you warm them up, so the only thing we need our pockets for is to hold a condom...

Not really. And women aren't supposed to put anything in the pockets of their jeans. It ruins the line and fit of their clothes. That's why, if we don't feel like carrying a handbag, we just use the pockets of whichever male friend we are with and use him as our man-purse.

A lot of Women's jeans have a little bit of stretch in them, or at least a little give. Cell phones are small, so they fit nicely. Also, we don't always use our pockets, we usually use purses. Imagine how stupid jeans would look without pockets!

Well...some girls like to wear their jeans so tight that it does that. However, a lot of girls don't wear it that tight. When I wear jeans, they are not so tight that I can't put money and my cell phone in my pocket. Maybe your gf should get better fitting jeans.

it can serve many purposes like carry ur movie tickets and cash in case u r not carrying ur wallet / hand bag....the most imp of all ur vehicle keys and mobile can also fit in jeans pockets...i guess u r friend is wearing them too tight.....most of the girls prefer comfort fit...so they can use the pockets...

I don't carry a purse, but I know what you mean. They're too tight to be useful. They are pretty good for holding loose money because it can't fall out.
