Why do women get incensed over celebrity break ups.?

I have seen women get angry over a perceived wrong of a male star (that bastard). They can't know any of the dynamics of the relationship.

To women the celebritys realtionships look perfect. Since there are idols. When they break-up women get the feeling that if they couldnt last then there own realtionships wont last. They see men as being bastards because they dont know the whole story they just know what the media tells them which is usually what the male did wrong.

Some people get sucked into the imaginary world of the celebs the same way others get pulled into tv dramas. (ooohh what happened on Lost last night?)

They picture themselves enjoying the high life as the female celeb and take it personally when the split happens.
